Everybody has them. You know, those things that make you feel all tingly that happened when you were a child. Like the
time you got into your mother's makeup and you were sure she was going to give you a paddling. Instead, she sat down beside
you and showed you how to "do it right." And to this day, every time you look in the mirror to apply your lipstick, you can
see her image standing behind you.
Or the time you and your dad went fishing, and you caught more fish than he did, so you hooked one on his line when he
wasn't looking so he wouldn't feel so bad.
Or the first time you "slept over" with a friend, and you wanted to feel so grown up, but when it was all quiet you cried
- just a little bit - because you were homesick.
Yes, everybody has these memories. So, I am putting together an anthology of Childhood Memories from the Heart. If
you would like to have me consider your favorite warm fuzzy stories, go to my "Contact Me" page and email your tale
to me. You just never know; you might end up in print.
